A food for special medical purposes for use in the dietary management of inherited metabolic disorders and other medical conditions requiring a low protein diet. Only to be used under medical supervision.

Rice Starch, Maize Starch, Potato Starch, Calcium Carbonate, Emulsifier (E471).
In a large saucepan bring to boil 1 litre of water. Add one serving* of dry rice. Optional - add 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon salt, if allowed. Boil for approx 7-9 minutes, or until just softened, stirring occasionally. Drain and rinse with boiling water and use as required. *EU average adult serving size = 75g dry rice (cooked weight 100g).
The recommended intake is dependent on the age, body weight, and medical condition of the patient. See pack for cooking instructions.
Store in a cool, dry place.
