Neocate Gold consists of ingredients that are broken down to their simplest and purest form so they are easier for little ones to process and digest. It is suitable for the dietary management of infants (0-12 months) with cows’ milk protein allergy, multiple food protein allergies, eosinophilic oesophagitis and/or other indications where an amino acid-based formula is recommended.

Neocate Gold is not intended to replace breast milk. However, if you are unable to breastfeed your baby at this stage, Neocate Gold is nutritionally complete. That means, when taken in the correct amounts, it will provide all of the necessary nutrients required for your baby’s growth and development.*

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Powdered infant formula is not sterile. Infant formula should be prepared immediately prior to feeding. Do not boil formula and do not use a microwave oven to prepare or warm formula. 1. Wash hands thoroughly and clean preparation area. Sterilise utensils. 2. Boil fresh water and allow to cool for about 30 minutes so that it feels warm to your wrist. Pour the required amount of water into a sterilised feeding bottle. 3. Fill the scoop provided with powder and level off with a clean, dry knife. Do not press the powder into the scoop. Only use the scoop provided. 4. Add the prescribed number of scoops of powder to the water. Replace the cap on the bottle and shake until the powder dissolves. Before feeding ensure that the formula is at the correct temperature by placing a few drops on the wrist. Feed immediately. 5. Formula remaining in the bottle after a feed must be discarded. Formula must not be rewarmed during feeding.

Suggested intake: The quantity of feed and the dilution should be determined by a clinician or determined by a clinician or dietitian only, and is dependent on age, body weight and medical condition of the patient. Use only the scoop provided or a gram scale for accuracy. Add 1 level scoop of powder to every 30mL of water to yield the recommended feed concentration of 13.8% w/v i.e. 13.8g powder made up to 100mL with water. Osmolality at this recommended concentration is 340 mOsmol/kg H2O. This is a general guide only; the infant may require more or less than shown. Prepare each bottle individually.

Store in cool dry place. Do not store powder in a refrigerator, Always replace the container lid after use. Once opened, use within one month, Product is packed by weight, not volume. Some setting of the powder may occur.

Neocate Gold infant formula is based on hypoallergenic amino acids, formulated without cows' milk protein. Neocate Gold contains medium chain triglycerides. It is suitable as a sole source of nutrition for infants from birth to 12 months of age. Important notice: Not suitable for general use. Must be used under medical supervision, after full consideration of all feeding options, including breastfeeding. Neocate Gold - For oral and tube feeding only; if using as tube feed, hang time should not exceed 4 hours. Not for intravenous (parental) use. Warning: Follow instructions exactly. Prepare bottles and teats as directed. Do not change proportions of powder exception on medical advice. Incorrect preparation can make your baby very ill. Dental Hygiene: Prolonged or frequent contact of drinks and feeds with teeth increase the risk of tooth decay. Note: Infants over 6 months should be offered foods in addition to infant formula.
